Abstract

 As humanity looks towards future exploration and potential colonization of Mars, efficient communication protocols will be paramount for successful missions. This paper explores the challenges associated with interplanetary communications, focusing on Mars, and discusses innovative solutions for resource-efficient transmission protocols. The proposed solutions encompass both hardware and software enhancements to optimize data transfer between Earth and Mars, considering the vast distances, signal delays, and energy constraints inherent to interplanetary communication.
